Catholic School Takes a Stand
Cheers to St Rose of Lima Catholic school for standing up for their beliefs instead of buckling under public pressureThis school, which is not publicly funded, has the right to determine what conduct it deems fit for it's employees. They expect the teachers at this school to live up to the values of the Catholic Church, and by not doing that, run the risk of termination.
While I'm sure several in this church will be there to help this woman through the hard times that are sure to come, the school has no fault in terminating her.

Somebody needs to tell this chick that Christians don't file lawsuits against other Christians. Do we submit ourselves to unbelievers to judge us? Give me a fricking break. I expect this kind of crap from the NYCLU, but I don't expect Christians to hire the NYCLU to plead their case.
The descrimination argument is totally bunk as well. The school has a policy against immorality. If immorality is proven then the teacher is reprimanded or fired. The fact that immorality is easier to prove when a woman is the violator is immaterial. The NYCLU is basically arguing that it's not fair because it was too easy to catch the teacher in wrong-doing. It may be unfair that guys aren't getting caught, but it's unfair because the natural system of life is unfair in this regard. Women are more vulnerable to the effects of sexual promiscuity. Until the NYCLU can sue God for discrimination, they will continue to sue people to try to ignore the order that God established.
i wouldn't put it past them. God has some deep pockets
